Thurstan cast a Stone Shape spell and used the magic to widen the hole making in large enough for the group to pass.
Clint lowered a torch on a rope to probe the shaft. It appeared to descend about 60 feet before intersecting with a tunnel. The rogue scouted ahead by climbing down the rope.
