  1. Thurstan asks Es Sarch if this quest to the island will bring us back into the area controlled by our (jerk a thumb at Dargoth) master, Imaug the mighty Aboleth.

  2. Directly following Thurstan's question (but before Es Sarch can respond) Kirlic offers to Thurstan "Can you think of a better way to find the master than to climb into a boat and go looking for him Thurstan? I'm sure Es Sarch will agree."
Bluff roll: [11]+12=23 (This might fall into the 'target wants to believe you' category of bluff?)

"Are there any precautions you recommend on the isle? You feel the atmosphere in this island will be less harmful to outsiders. We'd like to take measures to reduce that risk as far as possible, and perhaps understand what these risks are."

    Misc rolls: 15,3,5,4,19,17,19,20,4

  3. "We'll need vials of antiplague, methinks, if we're to brave the fungal funtime. A few scrolls of Protection from Evil wouldnt hurt either.
"May I suggest memorizing a Silence, Thurstan? Sounds like a prime Shrieker spot."

What sort of KS do you need to know about killer fungus? Nature or Dungeoneering? Would an appropriate KS give us moar ideas for braving the mushroom patch? Maybe something so simple as wearing a bandana over your mouth to prevent breathing in spores? Im sure Banjo has exactly none of the appropriate skills but the rest of us should have it covered.
...although if we want to maintain the charade, Turok will have to tell us about his rolls tomorrow.

After our adventurer huddle, Banjo the Beastmaster will take his brutes shopping.

  5. I would like to have a silence and a couple dispel magics before we go, so yeah.

  6. Thurstan says "i already had a couple silences and a dispell magic ready, but i'll get a couple protections from evil, if you think they'll help."

  7. "That's a fine idea Thurstan. We might need them to counter any mind-altering effects the freaky fungi unleash on us."

(I'm still going to buy scrolls when we're done planning.)

  8. I was thinking rubber gloves or a shovel / Machettee? To not touch the shrooms directly. Then maybe a disposable bag that will not leak spores or soemthing. I don't want this stuff to get me later.

Maybe go to an alchemest and get an idea of what the shrooms do. Maybe we could get a few more and make some coin if they are worth all this trouble to be honest.

  9. Clint would like to get a quiet word with ES, and ask if he could recommend a service provider that would be able to remove the ... compulsion... that a couple of our friends currently suffer from? Additionally, Clint tries to learn more about the shrooms, their street value, and who/where we could sell more of them if we indeed find "extras"...

    Rolls:
    15,13,2,3,3

  10. "Say, Clint... as you skulk about town--we all know your penchant for skulking--maybe you could inquire about the Vanguard? I would ask around myself, but subtlety was never my strong suit. Even less subtle now that I've acquired the title of 'Beastmaster.'"
*jerks thumb at N'Kima and Turok*
"I dont see a way to NOT become embroiled in the local politics here but we shouldnt forget our purpose for coming here in the first place."
