Banjo mutters "you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy."
ReplyDeleteIn reply, Turok makes a Chewbacca noise.
Banjo will ask for a private audience with E-Starch. If we're going to war with the Assassin's Guild over Snaketits and her graverobby cult, I'd rather announce it by a Scorching Ray to the face... opposed to shouting it aloud to the patrons of the Dripstone Inn.
ReplyDeletePart of "private audience" means talking without Captain Mincontrolled and the Glaze-Eyed Mumbler in earshot.
1. Does E-Starch know anything about the Vanguard of Sertous?
2. Does he have any information on the aboleth--with an aim towards killing it, NOT licking its tentacles in worship.
3. Can he supply more sensitive information on Fadheela? Again, with an aim towards ending her snakey-lickiness forever.
3a. Does he know of a treasure or collection of artifacts Snaketits recently acquired?
4. Who or what would likely pay us a bounty for each hairsnake not caught in a comb?
I was humming the cantina song while reading the flavor text. do do dew do do dew do.
ReplyDeleteGuess I get a room.
ReplyDeleteAsk Thurstan if he hears anything using the pearl.
Looking at the man for answers to all my questions.

At this point I am thinking "What man"!
Those with Knowledge: Religion can give me rolls.
ReplyDeleteYou get the inpression that the red robed man in the chair is Es Sarch. It does not look as if the audiences get anymore private than approaching his chair.
whisper to Dargoth "the pearl is not saying anything to me at the moment, but I'll let you know if it does"
