  1. I'm for it as long as no harm is to come to my master, the Abolyth, while I am in it's service.

  2. If the party agrees to his terms, I will post the next turn and Es Sarch will tell you of the favors he needs completed.

  3. We dont have much choice, and I doubt we'd much mind doing his dirty work anyway.

    "We accept your draconian terms!"

  4. If Thurstan's statement was said out loud:
Kirlic raises an eye at Thurstan.

"I think we're willing to hear the offer. I do have to say that my code of ethics is slightly more stringent than Thurstan seems to have at the moment."

If it was Bruce speaking OOC:
"Please continue, but I admit concern as to the type of work that may be handed out in a place such as this."

  5. Thurstan did say it out loud, and his alignment is one step more towards 'stringent' than the Elfs' is.
A party of N, N, N, CG, CG, CG, NG and NG is concidered "basicly good" not a Camelot remake...

  6. Understood and agreed. Kirlic is just a little wary of party members accepting any task that doesn't harm the underwater wizard controlling him. I'm not disputing game mechanics, just playing Kirlic's level of concern.

  7. Understood, but if we don't play this mooks' games, we are hosed as far as continuing the adventure.

Keith, i cast "Plot-hook detection", what do i see?

  8. These seems to be a promising way to continue your quest. You can certainly try it another way but that may prove harder.

Even if you accept the terms, there is no saying that you must immediately execute your obligation.

  9. I see no reason not to hear his offer. I'm just displaying a healthy amount of concern about what he might ask us to do.

I assume we have the right to back out at any time, seeing as he's paying us for our work with information. We owe him nothing before that point.
