The order and tone of encounters in Pedestal will depend upon the character actions. The plot is more a web than a line in this section. This is the free form portion of the adventure. Player input is very important.
As it is very likely that there will be dialog between the characters and NPCs, I will do my best to answer questions in the turn posts rather than posting a new turn. New turns will be posted once you enter a new encounter area.
Based upon the input receive so far I expect that you will be entering the Dripstone Inn and looking for ES Sarch and information about the Aboleth and Fadheela.
