  4. After we're done tossing fishies and taking their stuff, we'll go see Es Sarch in the Dripstone Inn on the Street of Five Hanged.

We'll look a little twitchy. Woe unto the next guy that looks at us funny.

  5. The scroll is Protection from Energy, the potion is Cat's Grace and the wand is Detect Magic (CL 1, 38 charges).

  6. Uh... a wand of Detect Magic? Really? No way to get the smell of 3.5 offa that, eh?

Does Clint want it or should we stuff it in the Sell Sack?

  7. Sure it is not a very expensive magic item but it can come in handy. It can be used by a rogue or other character with Use Magic Device. It also frees up slots for spell casters to allocate diffferent Level 0 spells toward.

On the Pedestal Map you are currently at location P1. The Dripstone Inn is location P2.

  8. The wand is not a good choice for Banjo but I believe that it can be used by Thurstan, Turok and Clint.

  9. Turok and Thurstan both currently have Detect Magic slotted. Clint has UMD at +10

  10. Is there a safe place to climb the wall here? If so, I might pop up there and get a look off into the distance all around. See if I can see any impending doom or other items of interest.

I'm ready to move on when the rest of the party is.

  11. Kirlic can easily climb the wall and take a look around. What he can make out from this distance is the following:

    - There is a wall around the entire city.
    - There appears to be a dock upon the Sullen Sea to the left (P3 on the Pedestal Map).
    - There is an inner wall around the section of the city where the large, central column rises.
    - For a city of this size, Pedestal appears to be sparsely populated. Many sections appear to be in bad repair.
    - Lanterns shedding a green light dot the city in a random fashion.
