The Sinister Spire – Turn Results 116

Not willing to risk further exploration in their weakened state, the party was able to trace their way back to the entrance of the Necromancer’s Spike and exit the structure without incident. They made their way to the bazaar to sell treasure and purchase supplies. To cure all of Dargoth’s STR damage and CON drain and the temporary negative Levels on Thurstan and Clint required three castings of the spell were required. These cost a total of 1140 GP.

After business was concluded at the bazaar, the party headed back to the Dripstone Inn to rest and recover health, spells and abilities. Thurstan used his remaining spells to heal himself and the rest of the party.

(Please manage your treasure list. There is still items that have not been handed out. Tell me what has been sold and what has been divided. You can get 712.5 GP for selling the spellbook and 55 GP for the Everburning Candelabrum. I will update the treasure list once you have made your choices.)

  1. i suggest Matt h take the gloves.
we could sell the scrolls: create undead, and vampiric touch.
keep the scroll of haste(give to Dave).
    sell the spellbook.

subtract the 1140gp for curing, divide the rest...

    1. Sounds good to me if the rest of the mooks are onboard.

So, unassigned scroll of Haste to Dave and the Gloves of Dex to Matt H. Sell spellbook and other two scrolls and the stuff listed on the To Be Sold list. Subtracting the cost of 3 Restorations, I have that coming out to 1358.9 GP each.

If he wants it, Dave could also use the Scroll of Vampric Touch as it is on his list. This would cost everyone 37.5 GP from the total provided above.

  2. Just curious.
What was the save I failed over and over?
Want to see if I can do something about that.

    Any suggestions anyone?

    1. You were having difficulty with Fort saves once your CON had been drained which lead to more CON drain. Most was delivered as damage which there was no save.

A Cloak of Resistance +1 will provide a bonus to all your saves (at a price of 1000 GP).

Having a Scoll or two of Restoration on hand (at a price of 800 GP) might not be a bad investment. A scroll of Death Ward (at a price of 700 GP) would have protected from the wraith's CON drain. The problem with scrolls is that you need someone to cast them. Both of the ones above are devine spells.

    2. I would like to buy Boots of the Mire. Should be 3,500 gp.

I think I currently have 3,674.19 to the best of my knowledge.
