  1. "Banjo my excitable friend, we're not here to kick through the bones of every last underworld fiend we find; I'd prefer to save my strength for a foe that stands between us and our objective.... you DO recall we are here for a purpose, right? Calm your lust for blood....or dust, or spider goo.... and lets move on..."

Clint opens door, and if the coast is clear, moves back over to the stairs.... check for that trap, disarm, and listen...

  4. Keith, do we believe the doors will hold, or is it a matter of time? (can they swarm under it for example)

    1. I seems likely that the doors will hold. The doors are in good repair and do not leave much of a gap. The swarm did not leak out last round when it might have.

  5. If the party is going to explore the room again, I need a plan indicating where everyone will be and the action each character will plan to take once the door is opened. I also need to know who is opening the door. (Banjo can stand around all day and insist he can take the swarm but someone needs to open the door first.)

If the party plans to move on, I will post the next turn using the assumption that you will explore the spiral staircase in your single-file marching order.

I am assuming that you do not plan to split the party so some agreement needs to be made amoung yourselves. Collectively, you need to pick a course of action and deal with the outcome. You can settle it anyway you wish but I need firm direction to move the adventure along.

  6. I see no reason not to follow Clint's lead to explore further if we think the doors will hold now that we've woken the swarm. We can always return if we see fit. (and I'd like to keep that on the table personally)

  7. if the swarm is trapped, i say let it be, and move on..

  9. I feel a little weird wasting Haste as well.

  10. Any further comments from Matt H or Matt F? If not I will proceed with exploring the spiral staircase.

  11. I am very sorry about your haste. Sincerely. I hate wasting spells... I am just very swarm-averse, especially when they seem to have no bearing on our main objective. We can always come back and cook them on the way out if you think they conceal some juicy treasures....?

  12. I am fine going to the spiral staircase. I think we should further explore. I am with Clint, If you want to come back later, after we find some other things that might help with the golem / swarm the better.

  13. I think we have a consensus. This still needs to be posted. It's a shame we don't have a bard.
