Same as last turn. Guarding the rear, watching the statues like a hawk, relieved no one climbed down the toilet looking for treasure. That was not a scent Kirlic wanted following the group for days.
ReplyDelete"This is starting to look like someplace the owner of this dungeon might have stuck someone he wanted to forget about, but not imprison in a cell."

Thinking this is a lab of some sorts. Do we want to spend a few minutes to check out the contents of this room? Thinking most of this is junk.
ReplyDeleteDetect Magic is in order. Maybe appraise checks to see if anything of value is still here. Look under the dust for secrets.

No magic has been detected within the room. Thurstan and Banjo have the spell up and maintained.
DeleteA thorough, determined search of this room will take considerable time and will require moving sever large pieces of funiture.
Need posts from Dave, Bruce and Matt H.
ReplyDeleteBanjo sighs. "Storage closet. Do we really need to waste time with--hey, wait! Maybe it's an illusion..." He jams his knuckles into his temples and rolls his eyes.
ReplyDeleteEye roll to disbelieve.
Is it an illusion?

It does not appear to be an illusion.
DeleteThurstan upon hearing Banjo places palm to forehead and rolls his eyes.
ReplyDeletethen proceeds to help search the room.

It will likely take over an hour to search this room. There is a ton of stuff that will need to be moved and pulled out just to be able to move around in there.
DeleteDo you plan to search it now?
This is not a lab. It's a storage closet full of junk. We should come back to this when we're done with the main objective. We are kind of on a time limit, right?
ReplyDeleteYou are looking for someone and specifically the bone of the king. You do not have a set deadline but the longer you take, the more likely something bad could happen. You also do not know what else may be around here.

Still looking for a post from Matt H.
ReplyDeleteReturn focus to the statues in the room outside, and inspect them carefully for any sort of switch or activation ... also closely inspect the last door we will have to go through. I am fine coming back to this junk room later, if at all.
ReplyDeleteIf nothing turns up, I will wait for the party to assemble and buff up, then go through the door....

You find no switches or anything hidden on the statues. Unlike the statues on the approach, these statues are completely stone.
DeleteThe door to the west does not appear to be trapped or locked. Frequently a green light flash shows under the door which is accompanied by the sound of an electric discharge.
..still detecting magic, and awaiting the party to do something.
ReplyDeleteIs it safe to assume that you are opening the other door? Any buffs of which I should be aware?
ReplyDeleteWell I don't buff so I am g2g.
ReplyDeleteReady to open the door?
ReplyDeleteYes
DeleteWhat are we waiting on here?
