Banjo, Thurstan and his wolf could not reach the action and were forced to wait in hopes of getting a chance to attack.
Blunderbuss power attacks with his great axe but misses the nimble ratman. Jean moves to the open corner and attacks with a hand axe. The ranger missed his target.
The monster attacked Clint but missed the rogue with both its rapier and its bite.
Clint moved out of harm's way an allowed Torvald to step forward to attack the wererat. The paladin power attacked with his longsword scoring a critical hit. The damage was reduced by the toughness of the creature but still dealt a solid 16 points of damage.
Seeing that Clint was greatly injured, Thurstan took a 5-foot step and cast Cure Moderate Wounds, healing the rogue by 17.
A few clarifying points:
ReplyDeleteThe portion of the room where the fight is happening is only 10x10. The monster and a statue occupy 2 of the 4 available squares. Currently, Jean and Torvald occupy the others. Blunderbuss is attacking passed a wall and the monster is receiving cover.
Clint did not get to attack as he would have generated an attack of opportunity. (He would have missed anyway.)
Torvald was not able to Smite as he had already used the ability today. He also uses a shield and was not able to use his longsword two-handed for the power attack.

ReplyDeleteI made the correction for Thurstan healing Clint. The character summary has been updated to reflect the spell being cast and the hit points gained.
