Barrow of the Forgotten King - GM Turn Post 32

Clint looks around cautiously. Smooth stone littered with small bits of broken rock and dirt make up the floor of the far chamber. The door to the northwest is shut and intact but remnants of the south door are propped up against a ruined frame and a badly cracked wall.

Characters should be able to climb the walls of the crevice. The walls are rough with many hand and foot holds but it appears to be slippery. The posts on either end of the bridge appear to be sturdy.

What do you do?

  1. can i tie the end of my silk rope to an bolt and shoot it across to clints side, where he can catch it, and tie it off to the bridge post, then hand-over-hand across?

  2. You can certainly try something like that; either an arrow or something heavy like a dagger, small hammer or hand axe. Once the rope is secured, it will require a climb check to navigate the crevice. I will have to check the DC but it will be easier than climbing the walls of the crevice.
