  1. First, give the magic items the Hairy Eyeball:

    (Assuming a +2 from Thurstan)

    30, 33

Maintain a Detect Magic as we shuffle along. I have no door preference.

  2. Kirlic takes a moment to recall Es Sarch's words:
'To enter the Necromancer’s Spike, one of you must carry this token. It will save you from the destructive magic protecting the first room within. Take care, however, for the ring suppresses the deathly effects of that chamber for only a minute or so.'

"Left. Not that it matters; but at the risk of sounding like a coward, I don't want to be in this room a second longer than necessary."

"Clint, would you do the honors?" Kirlic draws his bow and prepares to cover Clint's careful opening of the door.

  4. I am reminded of the 1st red dwarf episode when Holly is telling Dave Lister about what happened while he was in suspended animation and how the rest of the crew died, and Dave is touching, poking, and finally tasting the wee piles of dust all over the ship, and he says "Holly, whats this powdery substance?" Holly replies "That is catering officer Olaf Peterson."

I SO want to taste the dust, but I don't...

  5. Identifying magic items will take time. Are you doing so in this room?

  6. Kirlic is mindful of the time passing, and will step out of the original entrance if we draw too near the one minute mark, advising others of the time.

"This is not the time for admiring our finds friends, you likely picked those items up from the dust of someone with a similar idea." He has no desire to become dust on the floor of a dark elf necromancy hive.

  7. On behalf of Bruce:

We are not doing it in that room. At least, I'm not.

  8. Clint shrugs, and moves to the door on the left... "Grab the loot, and lets get out of here, fellas...." then opens it as carefully as he can and ducks to avoid any flying arrows...
